ThinSpring Announces
New Risk Analysis Capabilities with XML Sage™ v.2.1
Corona, Calif. – (September 8, 2003) – With
a Sarbanes-Oxley deadline right around the corner, many public
companies are scrambling to figure out their level of compliance.
ThinSpring has the answer. ThinSpring, a Corona
based company, recently announced its release of XML Sage™ v.2.1,
with new features that take the guess work out of compliance
issues. This real-time, fully configurable, browser-based
system now includes a powerful risk analysis application
piece. This new feature, coupled with the existing task management
portion, provides companies with the solution they are looking
for.
XML Sage v.2.1 is fully XML based and can be implemented
in less than a month. Using its patent-pending MatriXML™ engine,
time to production can be a matter of weeks rather than months. “Our
MatriXML toolset provides a rich set of API’s
(Application Programming Interfaces) that allow rapid application
development with XML Sage, our unique flagship product,” said
Kevin Stapel, chief information officer and senior partner
at ThinSpring.
XML Sage delivers worldwide knowledge management solutions
in record time, capable of rapid multi-facility, 100-plus
user installations. It provides real-time visibility on the
status of worldwide management activities and projects.
“With added system e-mailing technology and a collaborative
view that includes online discussion areas, reference item
storage space, and online administration tools, the new XML
Sage v.2.1
is in a class all of its own,” said Brian Suggs, senior
systems analyst at ThinSpring.
Included with this release are items such as a Recently
Viewed List and an Assigned Task List, both on the users’ XML
Sage home
page. XML Sage tracks where the user has been and to
what tasks the user has been assigned. The users’ home
page displays a list of those items and a link that takes
the user either to their most recently viewed item or to
their assigned task. “This one click action saves users
valuable time and will allow them to work much more efficiently,” Suggs
said. Other new items for XML Sage v.2.1 include the
look and feel. “This new look helps us to brand our
software and give users a more eye-appealing environment
to work in,” Suggs said.
Experts are predicting that public U.S. companies will spend
as much as $2.5 billion to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
According to ThinSpring, this system can handle all of
a company’s compliance needs at a fraction of the cost
and time.
