ThinSpring was founded in 1998 by former pharmaceutical and
medical device professionals. We have a passion to bring the
highest quality medical products to market in the shortest possible
time at lowest cost.
Ron Celeste, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Celeste co-founded MojoCommerce LLC, an early stage technology business
providing electronic commerce products, services and solutions to life science
industries. This grew into the ThinSpring brand, services, and software offerings
that we see today. Mr. Celeste is currently leading all business development,
sales, marketing and funding activities. He is also managing finance, human
resources and legal functions.
Prior to founding MojoCommerce and ThinSpring, Mr. Celeste served as Director
of Management Information Services for Maple Leaf Foods USA, Corporate Director
of Systems Development for C.R. Bard, Inc., and Strategic Systems Project Manager
for Baxter International. Mr. Celeste graduated from the United States Military
Academy at West Point, NY in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
Mr. Celeste is a Certified Quality Engineer for the American Society for Quality
Control.
Kevin Stapel, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Stapel co-founded MojoCommerce LLC, and co-designed an Internet/Intranet
ready generic document handler with the ability to be used for all types of
E-Business including EDI, E-Commerce as well as document control for regulated
industries. He is now managing all development activities and west coast operations.
Prior to founding MojoCommerce and ThinSpring, Mr. Stapel was the Director
of Technical Infrastructure for Bausch & Lomb - Surgical Division, Manager
of Technical Services for Baxter Healthcare, Programmer/Analyst and DBA for
Standard Brands Paint, and Senior Programmer for Martin-Marietta Data Systems.
Mr. Stapel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer
Science from the University of California, Irvine.
